Rain and Sun

Today I wrote a poem about the day, I call it Rain and Sun:

Today was a day that had both rain and sun

Although, there was a reason it wasn't of much fun

You see, today I forgot my umbrella

I didn't think to share with a fella

I suppose I can't complain, for the rain was light

But without my umbrella I can't sit tight

I cannot stay dry and warm. I was given quite a fright.

I got home and I saw, much to my delight

My umbrella sat there in the nearest sight!

Corny, I know. I just came up with it out of the blue cause I forgot my umbrella today
