We all know that it has been a while since I last posted but I am starting up again and I am going to try to post to you guys EVERYday! Also I do NOT look like I did in the pictures from last times post ( like 2 years ago ) so know that I am WAY older now. So here is today:
I started out waking up at around 9:30 (we went to the later church service today) and church was really good! They talked to us about how you have to be faithful in God and how you should never have doubt in his abilities! So as you can imagine I loved LISTENING! I put listening in all caps because I forgot my glasses today! Couldn't see much and it was sort of hard to try. Well still enjoyed the service but I am SO bringin my glasses next time! Anywayz I came home and we all had spaghetti! It was better than I thought it would be and I loved it! Afterwards I had some oreos ( I always have sort of a craving for chocolaty food after a big meal ). About half way through my plate of four oreos my mom reminded me that I needed to do the dishes and clean the table, YAY? Not exactly. So I rinsed the plates and silver ware that were in the sink and put them in the washer, cleared off the table and rinsed and put those in the dish washer along with all the cook ware , baggied up all the left overs, put them in their homes, washed the table, and FINALLY I was all finished! A while later my everyone but my sister and I was taking a nap ( my dad, mom, and little brother) so I got started on my blog! When my mom woke up ( she has recently gotten an interest in baking and crafting ) she began making vanilla pudding (which I am eating as we speak) and it is yumalicious!! The recipe for the pudding is :
3/4 cups of sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch or 1/3 cup of all purpose flour
3 cups of milk
4 beaten egg yolks or 2 beaten eggs
1 tablespoon of margarine or butter
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
In a heavy medium saucepan combine the sugar and the cornstarch or flour. Stir in the milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture is thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more . Remove from heat. Gradually stir in about 1 cup of the hot mixture into beaten egg yolks or eggs. Return all of the egg mixture to the saucepan. If your using egg yolks your gunna wanna bring it to a gentle boil. But if your using whole eggs your gunna wanna cook it till it's nearly bubbly but do not bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove it from the heat. Stir in the margarine and vanilla. Pour it into a bowl. Cover the surface with clear plastic wrap. Chill. Do not stir. (Makes 6 servings)
ENJOY!!
